In August, we held start-up courses for those with entrepreneurial ideas or have just started as self-employed.

Every Saturday morning in August, Qeqertalik Business Council, in collaboration with Innovation Greenland, held start-up related courses with a locally based course instructor who made the entrepreneur wiser about budgeting, bookkeeping and a number of tax issues that apply to start-ups. In addition, we had an experienced entrepreneur, to tell about her story and experiences over a cup of coffee with stories of her own challenges as an entrepreneur for inspiration to the others.

“As an entrepreneur in the start-up phase, it was good to be equipped and to be prepared for the things you need to be aware of. In addition, you get clarified a lot of practical exercises that you must have prepared yourself. I have been really happy to have the opportunity to participate in these courses, where there were also opportunities for exchanges of experience with the other participants.
