Destination Diskobay works to promote tourism in the Qeqertalik region and participated in the 5 Countries Workshop held in London, United Kingdom. 

The event was well attended by agents who buys and sells adventure tours from Iceland, Estonia, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and their partners. 

The destination management organization gets to talk to many agents, including agents from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Finland, Iceland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Estonia, Italy, and India. They were interested in hearing about the region, as well as hearing about what opportunities the operators in the Qeqertalik region offer. 

“Our presence at the 5 Countries Workshop has created potential partners around the world. This also creates many opportunities for our operators in the region. There is no doubt that Greenland is seen as a must go to destination and not least an important adventure destination. Many of the agents I spoke to want to expand their product portfolio with trips to Greenland, by the request of their clients. To increase the country’s share in the global tourism industry, we must reap the interest and turn the demand into a good travel experience,” said Destination Manager Linda Kleist.
