Destination Diskobay from Qeqertalik and two other from Greenland participated in Nordic Workshop 2023 in Frankfurt, an event that took place on September 20th. This workshop served as a platform for connecting suppliers and buyers within the tourism industry, allowing them to explore potential collaborations based on their unique profiles, market segments, and individual needs. Participants, including tourist boards, tourism businesses, service providers, and destinations from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Denmark and Greenland, had the opportunity to engage with tour operators from Germany and incoming agencies.

These meetings, were conducted in person in Frankfurt, providing a dynamic setting for meaningful discussions and the exploration of new partnerships. The 20th of September marked a significant date for tourism stakeholders from the Nordic region and Germany, as they came together to foster valuable connections and lay the foundation for future potential collaborations in the tourism industry.

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to introduce Destination Diskobay in Frankfurt. During my visit, I forged valuable connections with travel agencies responsible for organizing upcoming guest trips. My primary goal was to ensure they had a comprehensive understanding of the incredible offerings that Destination Diskobay provides. I provided them with essential information, addressed their inquiries, and emphasized the uniqueness of our destination. Most notably, I highlighted the range of accommodations, local operators, transportation choices, and a diverse array of activities suitable for every season.
