Qeqertalik Business Council was represented as part of an Advisory Board for Nalik Ventures in Nuuk last week. Throughout the last two years, the Business Council, together with the other regional business councils in Greenland, has worked to ensure stable framework conditions for their common goals with business promotion efforts, regionally as well as nationally.
Nalik Ventures, who invited to the meeting, hosted this two-day seminar, which was full of exciting presentations from consultants and from their own ranks, who presented about their investment pools, the status of the opportunities, international programs that can benefit entrepreneurship in Greenland, application processes for the business world and a goal of strengthening the entrepreneurial industry by means of a new Kick Start system.
In addition, we had a presentation from the business councils about each of our work, presentations about the opportunities and challenges and what else was going on in the regions.
“I am very happy to be able to meet with my colleagues from the other regions, where together with Nalik Ventures we keep the dialogue going, about our common goal of business promotion throughout Greenland. It is important to inspire each other and make each other wiser about our own experiences from the business world and how we can jointly strengthen the cooperation further” says Gerth P. Olsen, managing director of the Qeqertalik Business Council.
