Qeqertalik Business Council is looking for a Project Manager with employment per January 1, 2022 or by appointment. QBC is the regional business and tourism promotion company, which also includes Destination Diskobay.
The Business Council, together with the destination company, is a newly established company that aims to strengthen the business and tourism area as a competent industry for the benefit of society, the inhabitants and the tourists in the region. Qeqertalik Business Council consists of a six-person professional board, appointed by the municipality and the local branches of GE in Qeqertalik.
With great potential in the local community around Disko Bay, you as Project Manager for the region will help to create a common brand for the area and promote it externally.

Tasks:
- Carrying out overall projects and coordination in collaboration with colleagues and with the most important stakeholders
- Preparation of strategies and processes, including CSR policy, Community Guidelines etc.
- Cooperation and coordination across the municipality, the business council and the region’s business and tourism operators
- Create coherence between regional and national strategies
- Realization and development of projects, i.a. to the new regional brand
- Participate in the preparation of a business and tourism plan
- Development and updating of online business and destination landing page
- Preparation of newsletters and other publications
- Assist in the preparation of product catalog and destination profiles
- Integrate business and tourism sustainability
- Advice and assistance to entrepreneurs
