Saligaatsoq 2024 in Aasiaat was a great success with up to 50 participants who gathered on the sunny Saturday, June 15, in collaboration with Kommune Qeqertalik. In just under two hours, the participants managed to collect around 80 black bags of waste as well as larger items like washing machines and pallets.

STARK Kalaallit Nunaat Aasiaat once again sponsored black bags and disposable gloves.

Following the intensive cleanup, there was a delightful barbecue and social gathering, with grill food sponsored by Pisiffik Aasiaat, Pilersuisoq Aasiaat and INI A/S. A raffle was also held among the participants, with prizes sponsored by Masanti A/S, Rothberg Byg I/S, Anuni Aasiaat and Polar Raajat.

One of the lucky winners of a 3 kg box of frozen shrimp, Aningaaq Petersen, was not present at the drawing, and he is requested to pick up his prize at our office.
