Every quarter, business owner in Aasiaat, the leader of Kommune Qeqertalik, and the Qeqertalik Business Council meet for a tripartite meeting.
During these meetings, participants share information about their plans and initiatives, allowing the parties to collaboratively advance the business and tourism interests of the town.
Søren Hansen, chaiman of Greenland´s Business Region Disko, comments on these meetings:

The Business Council has taken the lead and is very eager to have this initiative established in the remaining towns of the municipality, in close collaboration with local representatives.
