Presentation of the Board of Directors of Qeqertalik Business Council A/S

The Board of Directors of the Business Council consists of six members who meet at least four times a year. The meetings cover various topics, including financial & strategy meetings, the annual general meeting, thematic meetings, and the annual evaluation meeting. In addition, the chairman and vice-chairman of the board stay continuously updated on the development of the council’s activities.

The board places great emphasis on visiting all towns and settlements in the Municipality of Qeqertalik and works purposefully towards the sustainable development of local businesses and tourism. Each year, a meeting is held in one of the municipality’s towns on a rotating basis. In recent years, meetings have taken place in Aasiaat, Qasigiannguit, and Qeqertarsuaq, where the board has engaged in discussions with business and tourism stakeholders who have presented their projects and plans. The upcoming meeting will be held in Kangaatsiaq this fall.
